Perched at the top of a private mountain, Misty Mountain Hideaway offers sweeping views of the Blue Ridge National Forest, all accessible by fully paved roads. Surrounded by abundant wildlife and serene natural beauty, this peaceful retreat invites you to slow down, reconnect, and breathe in the mountain magic.

This 3-bedroom, 3-story cabin comfortably welcomes families and friends, whether you’re gathering on the spacious decks, grilling under the open sky, or unwinding in the private hot tub overlooking endless forest views.Outdoor Bliss
The main level deck features a screened-in lounge with a stone wood-burning fireplace and cozy seating — the perfect place to catch both sunrise and sunset over the ridges. On the lower-level porch, you will find the hot tub, a hammock, and additional outdoor seating — all offering a front-row seat to nature’s beauty.

Gather + Relax
The main floor’s open living area centers around a stunning wall of windows, a stone gas fireplace, and a streaming TV, making movie nights feel extra magical. Please note: Gas fireplaces are available October through April as they are the primary heat source for the cabin.

The fully equipped kitchen includes granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a Keurig, and all essential cooking tools — including wine glasses, mixing bowls, a pizza cutter, BBQ utensils, and more. The dining table seats 6-8 guests, with 4 additional seats at the breakfast bar. Outside, the gas grill is connected to the cabin’s main gas line for easy use.

Peaceful Bedrooms
Main Floor: Queen bed plus a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a laundry area with a washer, dryer, and iron.
Top Floor Master Suite: King bed with private balcony, streaming TV, and an en suite bathroom featuring a walk-in tile shower and soaking tub.
Lower Level: Queen bed plus bunk beds (2 twin beds) and a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
Game & Entertainment Haven
The lower-level rec room is designed for fun and connection, featuring a pool table, board games, a stone gas fireplace, streaming TV, and a wet bar with a mini fridge and sink.

Important Notes
Access: Roads are fully paved, but due to the steep and curvy terrain, AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended, particularly in winter or rainy conditions. Parking is available for up to 3 vehicles. Please note: RVs, large trucks, trailers, and boats are not permitted due to the road and driveway layout.

Tech: Cell service is very limited, and WiFi can be spotty due to the cabin’s remote location. If you need reliable internet for remote work, this may not be the best fit. This space is ideal for a digital detox and reconnecting with nature.

Getting Around
Misty Mountain Hideaway sits at the top of a private mountain peak, accessible by fully paved roads. While 2WD vehicles can typically reach the cabin, we highly recommend AWD or 4WD, especially during winter months or after heavy rain, due to steep and curvy mountain roads.

Parking is available for up to 3 vehicles. Please note: RVs, large trucks, trailers, and boats are not permitted due to the mountain roads and driveway size.

Transportation options are limited. While there are a small number of local shuttle services and occasional Uber availability, these are not guaranteed, especially during off-peak times. For the smoothest stay, we strongly recommend having your own vehicle.

For essentials, downtown Blue Ridge is approximately 20 minutes away, offering grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, and shopping. The Aska Adventure Area and Toccoa River are only 10 minutes away for hiking, tubing, kayaking, and more.

To make your stay as relaxing as possible, we recommend stocking up on groceries and supplies before heading up the mountain so you can settle in and enjoy the peaceful retreat once you arrive.

While the roads are fully paved, they are steep and curvy, so we highly recommend AWD or 4WD, especially during winter or rainy weather. Parking comfortably fits up to 3 vehicles; however, RVs, large trucks, trailers, and boats are not permitted due to the mountain roads and driveway layout.

Disconnect to Reconnect
Nestled right beside the national forest, this cabin offers the gift of peace and seclusion — but that also means cell service is very limited, and WiFi can be spotty or slow. If you need reliable internet for remote work, this may not be the best fit. However, if you are craving a true digital detox — a chance to step away from screens and fully connect with nature and your loved ones — this cabin offers exactly that.
